This End User License Agreement (“Agreement” or “EULA”) is a legally binding agreement between you (“the User”, “the Customer”, or “the Licensee”) and JohnGlerupProduction.dk (“the Licensor”) regarding the use of software developed and distributed by JohnGlerupProduction.dk.

By installing, activating, copying, or using the software, you agree to be bound by this license agreement. If you do not accept these terms, you must not install or use the software.

2. Definitions

In this Agreement, the following terms shall have the meanings set forth below:

  • Software: All programs and applications developed by JohnGlerupProduction.dk, including installation files, updates, documentation, databases, graphics, icons, and any associated materials.
  • License: The right to use the software under the terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement.
  • License Key: A unique activation code granting access to the purchased software.

3. Grant of License

Upon purchase, the Customer receives a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the software. Ownership of the software is not transferred. All copyright and intellectual property rights remain the exclusive property of JohnGlerupProduction.dk.

4. License Types

The specific license type is stated in the product description or order confirmation. Available license types may include:

  • Single-User License
  • Household License
  • Commercial / Business License
  • Multi-User License
  • Lifetime License
  • Subscription-Based License

The license only confers the right to the specific scope of use covered by the respective license type.

5. Permitted Use

You are permitted to:

  • Install the program in accordance with the purchased license.
  • Use the program for personal or internal business purposes (as applicable to the license type).
  • Make a backup copy of the installation file for archival purposes.
  • Transfer the program to a new computer, provided that the terms of the license continue to be observed.

6. Prohibited Use

You may NOT:

  • Copy the software beyond what is strictly permitted by applicable mandatory law.
  • Distribute, publish, or share the program.
  • Resell, transfer, or publicly disclose the license key.
  • Rent, lease, lend, or sublicense the program.
  • Bypass or circumvent copy protection mechanisms.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the program.
  • Modify, alter, or adapt the program code.
  • Create derivative works based on the software.
  • Use the software for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose.

7. Activation

The software may require online activation. JohnGlerupProduction.dk may verify:

  • License key / number
  • Program version
  • Activation status
  • Operating system
  • Technical information necessary for license management.

No personal files or private computer contents are collected during this process.

8. License Control and Auditing

The license may be verified on an ongoing basis to detect and prevent misuse. Upon detected misuse or breach of this Agreement, the license may be suspended, deactivated, or revoked.

9. Updates

The license may include software updates, depending on the specific license purchased. JohnGlerupProduction.dk may issue bug fixes, security patches, improvements, and new features. Installing updates may be necessary to ensure continued proper operation and support.

10. Beta Versions

Beta versions are provided strictly “as is” without warranty of any kind. They may contain bugs or errors and are not intended for use in live production environments.

11. Demo and Trial Versions

Demo and trial versions may be subject to functional limitations, such as a limited number of records, disabled export functionality, time limitations, or reduced features.

12. Intellectual Property Rights

The software is protected by copyright laws, trademark laws, and international treaty provisions. All rights not expressly granted under this Agreement are reserved by JohnGlerupProduction.dk.

13. Support

Customer support is provided pursuant to the applicable support terms in effect.

  • Support normally includes: Installation, activation, and software errors/bugs.
  • Support normally excludes: Operating system issues (Windows/macOS), hardware malfunctions, third-party software, and network/connectivity problems.

14. Disclaimer of Warranties

The software is provided “as is” and “as available”. While JohnGlerupProduction.dk strives to deliver high quality, the Licensor does not warrant that the software will be error-free, fulfill all individual requirements, operate seamlessly with all third-party software, or function without interruptions.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, JohnGlerupProduction.dk shall not be held liable for loss of operations, loss of revenue or turnover, data loss, lost profits, indirect losses, or consequential damages. The Licensor’s aggregate liability shall never exceed the total amount paid by the Customer for the specific license, unless mandatory statutory legislation provides otherwise.

16. Data Backup

The User is solely responsible for creating regular data backups, database backups, and performing full backups prior to installing software updates.

17. Data Security and Privacy

The software may store data locally on the User’s device. Where third-party cloud synchronization services (such as Dropbox, OneDrive, or others) are used, the User is solely responsible for the security posture and terms of the chosen service. JohnGlerupProduction.dk does not have access to the User’s private data unless explicitly stated as part of the product’s functionality.

18. Termination

The license terminates automatically and immediately if this Agreement is breached, if the license is used unlawfully, or if the license key is misused. Upon termination, the User must immediately delete and destroy all copies of the software.

19. Assignment and Transfer

The license may not be assigned, sublicensed, or transferred to any third party without prior written consent from JohnGlerupProduction.dk.

20. Export Control

The User is responsible for complying with all applicable domestic and international export control laws, trade sanctions, and regulations when using or transferring the software.

21. Force Majeure

JohnGlerupProduction.dk is not liable for failure to fulfill its obligations due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, strikes, epidemics, power failures, internet outages, or governmental orders.

22. Amendments

JohnGlerupProduction.dk reserves the right to amend this License Agreement. The latest version will always be published on the company’s website. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate.

23. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with Danish law. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be settled by the Danish courts, unless mandatory consumer protection legislation dictates otherwise.

25. Acceptance

By installing, activating, or using the software, the User declares that they:

  • Have read this License Agreement;
  • Have understood its content;
  • Accept and agree to all terms and conditions;
  • Are of legal age or possess the necessary authority to enter into this agreement.

If the User does not accept these terms, the software must not be installed or used.
